Gender expression includes all the ways a person communicates their gender based on societal factors such as gender norms and perceptions.

Making a jacket feels like I tell people to cover up to much instead of taking back power, that's why i experimented with self portraiture at the tram station near me.

This is a place where I, and with me many queer people, have encountered harassment. by showing up as extravagant as I wanted to be I feel like I've taken back some power.
It was scary but felt relieving. Which is why I came up with my proposal.

Reclaiming the public space they desire to, a place they don't have good memories of for an instance.

Only when someone feels like it and feels safe to. For instance my roommate Pepijn in the pictures under my proposal.

Could eventually become a booklet against street harassment
